• "Bon Appetit" won best for Costume & Design (overall design craft award) and Best in Brief at the NAHEMI Commercial Awards 2025

 

I worked as co-Production Designer on Bon Appetit, responsible for the design and construction of the set, as well as the build/strike paperwork, risk assessment, budgeting (working with £300), props lists, and expense claims forms.

Working with a skeleton crew meant I covered all other art department roles, including props making and sourcing, all construction and strike, scenic painting, and managing the product shot.

Bon Appetit was shot on film (Kodak), with a shooting period of two days.

 "Bon Appetit" is a humorous commercial made for Ginsters LTD, following a French aristocrat as he is taken to be executed and offered his final meal - a delicious tray of the finest foods - only to turn it down in favour of a single Ginsters pasty.
